An exciting cultural initiative is coming to Connecticut: “Filmed in Peru.”
This event is made possible through a partnership between Filmed in Peru and Latincolors Magazine, with the goal of celebrating Peruvian culture, cinema, and storytelling with the broader Connecticut community.
Through film screenings, cultural conversations, and community engagement, this initiative will highlight the creativity, history, and diversity of Peru while strengthening cultural connections between Peru and the communities of Connecticut.
The event will bring together filmmakers, artists, community leaders, and families to experience and celebrate the power of Peruvian storytelling.
All films will be presented with English subtitles, ensuring accessibility for a wide and diverse audience.

While trying to understand Valeria, he becomes entangled with Alessia, confusing desire, guilt, and companionship with love. The film is a romantic comedy about the emotional confusion of youth and about how, if we never learn to look inward, we end up telling ourselves the story of a life we never truly knew how to live.
